Boudha Stupa

Boudha Stupa or Boudhanath Stupa or Boudha is located towards the North-East from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. While you are landing, you might notice Boudha Stupa from the air.


This small town is crowded with people, visitors, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops, internet cafes, guest houses, decent sized hotels, and gumbas (monasteries). But the view of the stupa and its surroundings early in the morning and evening is just sublime.


Go and enjoy the welcoming and friendly but a bit shy people of Boudha.
